The Future of Travel: Trends and Technologies Shaping the Decade Ahead: The Futurist Institute by Jason Schenker is another interesting book by Schenker as he examines travel prospects for the future. Travel has been greatly impacted by the pandemic, and the future remains somewhat uncertain as to how things will unfold. In this book, Schenker has gathered an array of essays by experts in their respective fields from travel and leisure to hospitality and futurists about the future of travel. All of the insights and opinions are presented in an easy to read manner, and even though the book was written prior to the Omicron variant, there's plenty of great information here and lots to think about. With some valuable graphics as well, the author lays out what the future might look like when it comes to travel by examining trends and predictions. Remote work and its impact on travel is also examined. Eminently readable, this one is highly recommended.
